A medium wooden bowl hand-turned from ash taken from a Worthing tree. As the wood has dried it has moved slightly, giving the bowl a gentle oval shape — around 21 cm at its widest point and 19 cm at its narrowest.
The grain of the ash forms a natural figure that hints at the shape of an ash leaf, adding a subtle detail to the otherwise simple form. The size makes it useful as a serving bowl or as a practical piece for everyday use.
