A 35cm empire lampshade made from vintage cotton with a rose pattern, hand dyed with indigo to create a soft, mid-blue. The original florals show through the dye in muted tones of brown, green and yellow, giving the shade a gentle depth of colour when lit.
Each shade is dyed and made by hand in my studio above the shop in Worthing, with subtle variations in tone that make every piece unique.
