A 20cm drum lampshade made from vintage silk satin, hand dyed with fresh indigo to create a soft, luminous blue. The smooth surface of the silk gives a gentle sheen, adding depth and warmth when lit.
The indigo was grown in my garden and used fresh in the dyeing process, bringing subtle variation to the colour.
Each shade is dyed and made by hand in my studio above the shop in Worthing, with natural variations that make every piece unique.
