Spalted Burr Field Maple Moon Jar – 21cm

A rounded wooden form inspired by the proportions of a traditional moon jar. Turned from spalted burr field maple, the softly curved shape highlights the striking figure and natural markings in the wood.

The form has a quiet, sculptural presence and works well on a shelf, sideboard or table where it can be viewed from all sides.

Care

• Wooden forms and vases are not watertight
• Do not fill with water
• Dust gently with a dry cloth
• If the surface appears dry over time, apply mineral oil or a suitable bowl finish, leave for 6–12 hours, then wipe away any excess

Each piece is unique, with natural variation in grain, figure and tone.
